Abstract
The rock drilling and splitting machine offers versatile functionality—it can not only drill holes using a hydraulic rock drill but also split rocks with its built-in splitting mechanism. After the drill bit is removed, the machine can easily be reattached to an excavator for digging operations.
When carrying out building demolition and rock-splitting operations, the integrated rock drilling and splitting machine features low vibration, minimal noise, and reduced dust generation. Mounted on an excavator and operated from the operator's cab, it lowers the risk for construction workers, enhances overall job safety, and creates a more comfortable working environment for operators.
The excavator features a robust walking mechanism, enabling it to handle a variety of muddy and uneven terrains. A hydraulic rock drill and a rock splitter are simultaneously mounted on the excavator. Both drilling and rock-splitting operations can be performed either from the operator’s cab or via remote control. This innovative setup allows for seamless alternation between drilling and splitting tasks using just one machine, significantly reducing equipment-handling time and boosting overall construction efficiency.
